    Amna Chalwati

    Associate Professor of Accounting, Saint Mary's University

    Amna Chalwati is an Associate Professor whose research on greenwashing, social washing, and sustainability disclosure directly supports NATUCAP-HUB’s focus on AI-enhanced ESG integrity and valuation frameworks. She holds a PhD from Hong Kong Polytechnic University, with publications in leading journals such as JBF, CAFR, and JTAR. Her governance consulting work with GIGS strengthens the project’s integration of global sustainability standards.

    Shahryar Rahnamayan

    Professor, Engineering, Brock University

    Dr. Rahnamayan is a leading AI and computational intelligence researcher whose work on optimization and machine learning underpins NATUCAP-HUB’s development of advanced AI models for ecosystem valuation. He directs the NICI Lab, has authored 250+ publications with 10,700+ citations, and pioneered Opposition-based Computation, now foundational to hundreds of studies. Recognized as a top 2% AI researcher globally (2020–2024), he brings critical technical leadership to the initiative.

    Anteneh Ayanso

    Professor of Information Systems, Brock University

    Dr. Ayanso is an expert in data analytics and digital infrastructure, providing essential leadership for NATUCAP-HUB’s AI data systems and municipal decision-support tools. As founding Director of the Centre for Business Analytics and Director of the Data Sciences & Analytics program, he has extensive experience building large-scale analytics capacity. He holds a PhD in Information Systems from the University of Connecticut.

    Dave Bouckenooghe

    Professor of Organizational Behavior, Brock University

    Dr. Bouckenooghe specializes in organizational behavior and change management, offering critical insight into the adoption of AI-enabled sustainability frameworks within complex institutions. His research and teaching excellence have been recognized through multiple international awards, including the Goodman Distinguished Scholar Award. He also serves as Associate Editor for the Journal of Applied Behavioral Science.

    Samir Trabelsi

    Principal Investigator, CPA Ontario Distinguished Scholar & Professor of Accounting and Governance, Brock University

    Dr. Trabelsi is Principal Investigator of NATUCAP-HUB and a leading scholar in governance, sustainability, and risk management, with research funded by SSHRC. He holds a PhD from HEC Montréal and has received major honors including Brock University’s Award for Teaching Excellence. His international leadership in ESG and sustainability reporting directly shapes the project’s valuation and policy direction.

    Anup Srivastava

    Canada Research Chair in Accounting - Decision-Making and Capital Markets, University of Calgary

    Dr. Srivastava is a world-leading expert on valuation, governance, and financial reporting in technology-driven economies, contributing to NATUCAP-HUB’s integration of AI-based valuation into accounting systems. He is the Canada Research Chair in Accounting (renewed 2024) and an award-winning scholar recognized by AACSB and CPA Alberta. He also serves in editorial leadership roles at Contemporary Accounting Research, Management Science, and Accounting Horizons.
